The waiver/enrollment period for fall 2024 is now open and closes September 30. You must waive before the deadline. If you miss the deadline, you will have this insurance for the semester and will not be reimbursed.

The NIU student health insurance plan is through UHCSR and is a PPO.

Insurance cards (ID's) are not emailed to students. Students must print them off from their account through UHCSR.

NIU has collaborated with Benefit Partners Group to provide dental, vision, and telehealth coverage to NIU students. They also offer short-term coverage if you are no longer an NIU student.
